Platform
Prior-period tagging
Match each untagged figure to the same registrant's prior filing, tagged on the platform or imported. Every match says why, and nothing is tagged until a person accepts it.
How it works
Match, see why, accept, and know where each tag came from
-
Match
Each untagged figure in a section is matched to one the prior filing tagged: by its row in a table, by the same figures, or by the sentence around it.
-
See why
Every match gives its reason and a tier, A, B or C, from the most reliable to the ones to read first.
-
Accept
Accept one figure, or all tier A matches in a section after seeing the list. Tier B and C are accepted one at a time.
-
Know where it came from
An accepted tag records that it came from the prior period, with its tier, until someone changes it.
What it needs
A tagged prior filing for the same registrant
- The registrant's previous filing made on the platform, or its filing imported from outside
- Figures and table rows in the current section that are not yet tagged
Works with
-
Import and compare
Bring in an existing iXBRL filing and compare a draft with it, concept by concept.
-
Excel table tagging
Tag the table, not the cell.
-
Assisted tagging
Suggested US GAAP concepts for tables imported from Excel; nothing is tagged until a person accepts it.
-
Review and validation
Fact-level review, blocking errors and warnings, and one view of what is left.

Reusing a prior filing
Reuse a prior filing's XBRL tags in the next period: what to import, what to compare concept by concept, and what to check again before accepting any of them.
